Infrastructure Engineer - Hybrid - £40,000 to £45,000.

The Infrastructure Engineer will support the infrastructure estate covering end user compute, servers(cloud/on prem) and network. The role will support, maintain, and develop the IT infrastructure so both current and future needs can be sustained.

As the key Infrastructure Engineer in this role you will be responsible for monitoring, administering and ensuring the estate performs as designed whilst providing technical support and diagnose issues to resolve infrastructure related problems.

As the lead infrastructure engineer you will support projects across the entire life cycle which includes, defining needs and benefits, technical strategy, analysis/design, operations, testing and rolling-out new solutions across the business.

You will report security statuses, highlighting strengths and weaknesses within the infrastructure estate along with Installing and configuring security solutions. There is outsourced 3rd party support alongside this role along with internal 1st/2nd line support.

You will ideally have as much of the following experience as possible:

• Microsoft stack - Azure, O365, Exchange
• Intune
• Experience in a technical IT infrastructure role 2nd to 3rd line.
• SharePoint
• Cloud - Azure ideally but others will be considered.

Any experience working on Hybrid estates or with Security skills woudl be a bonus. This role has the opportunity to grow over the next two years in terms of level and responsibility.
