Data Director – Hybrid – Permanent – 100k to 110k plus 33% bonus and excellent benefits

 
Director level role leading the long-term development of a technology led organisations data strategy. Providing real leadership of people and management of the companies data strategy, C level engagement whilst creating structure, focus and support for the Data engineering, BI and Data Science teams.

To be successful in this role you will be an experienced data professional, who is experienced in leading leaders, building data teams creating and delivering strategy whilst working with the business to establish fit for purpose data technology solutions to increase the availability, speed and accuracy of data for this organisation.

This organisation has gone through significant high value growth both via revenue and acquisition, with the creation of new technology platforms, development of their technology teams and future thinking. This role will now play a pivotal part in the future success of this organisation and is a key position within the company.

As the Data Director you will define the global data strategy, deciding on the appropriate data technologies, data storage solutions, analytics software and data visualisation tools. You will ensure that the global date governance polices and complaint with data privacy and protection regulations across different countries.

You will oversee the design of data architecture across several global platforms, decide on the prioritisation of data projects and implement AI/ML strategies to automate revenue management stream into the multi millions.

Leading multiple technology teams across Data Engineering, BI, Data Science, you must be able to deliver through others, shape the data and automation strategy whilst driving the migration to the target technology stacks, championing data governance.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate as much of the following as possible:

• Experience in a data leadership role.
• Experience in leading leaders to build high performing teams.
• Creation and delivery of data strategy.
• Experienced at C suite engagement levels.
• Directed teams to build and deliver fit for purpose data solutions.
• Experience or knowledge of AWS.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, focusing on the integration of AI and ML
• Vendor management experience

This role will be central to this organisations success and will lead on data and innovation across the business.
