Senior Network Analyst / Network Security Analyst / Network Engineer- Cisco – Hybrid working – 52k plus bonus & excellent benefits.

Senior Network Analyst (Cisco) for our client who are a multinational business with an enterprise level network.

We are looking for a Network Engineer or Network Analyst (CISCO) who will be responsible for leading projects to develop and implement scalable solutions for LAN(SDAccess) / WLAN / SDWAN / Cloud services.

The role will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the design of perimeter security are robust, available, and fit for future.
• Provide Implementation services for all projects that have networking requirements.
• Provide 3rd line support for the network infrastructure.
• Deliver project work (both strategic and tactical) in compliance with relevant technical architectures, ensuring solutions are successfully delivered and fit for purpose.
• Provide technical consultancy to infrastructure and development teams where necessary to assist with project delivery and/or problem resolution.
• Provide appropriate training and documentation for any newly deployed systems.
• Perform release management activities including patching, firmware updates and other related activities.
• Implement systems changes and improvements using the Change management process.

To be successful in this role you will have as much experience of the following as possible:

• Knowledge of SDWAN and SD-Access connectivity, and WAN protocols.
• Strong understanding of high availability protocols for example VRRP, HSRP and LACP.
• Troubleshooting: Application Performance, WLAN/LAN/WAN Issues.
• Any knowledge of network virtualisation technologies such as MPLS, BGP, OSPF and VRF.
• Any understanding of QoS and NetFlow, particularly in respect to prioritising VoIP traffic.
• Knowledge of Packet analysis.

Any qualifications such as CCNP/CCDP or working towards CCIE Certified so Routing & Switching with SDWAN focus woudl be a bonus but are not essential.
