Project Accountant - Interim - Outside IR35 - Manchester - Hybrid - 6 months.
Project Accountant to support an IT transformation programme providing providing financial analysis and support will be adept at managing programme finances, tracking budgets, and providing insightful financial reporting and analysis to facilitate effective decision-making within the programme leadership.
Key Responsibilities in the role will include:
- Financial Tracking and Analysis
- Vendor Management
- Budget Management
- Cost Control
- Resource Cost Tracking
- Invoice and Payment Tracking
- Stakeholder Communication
You will need as much of the following as possible:
- Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, preferably within an IT or project management environment.
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with various levels of management and external vendors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree level qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field – desirable.
- AAT qualification or equivalent – desirable.
