Cyber Security Analyst (500 to 550 per day)

Birmingham (hybrid working/ at least one day per week in the office)

Contract- 10 Months (Possibility of extending)


Organisation looking for a Cyber Security Analyst.

Reporting directly to the IT Security & Test Manager, the Cyber Security Analyst will be accountable for the analysis of the organisations IT systems’ security, network technical security requirements and security incident events.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

·         Performing day-to-day operations, searching for leads on cyber threats and breaches of IT security protections.

·         Designing and implementing IT security strategies, technologies and standards.

·         Supporting the implementation of controls to maintain integrity and safety.

·         Providing analysis of the developments, making sure they comply with industry standards.


To be successful in this role you will need experience in:

·         Existing knowledge in Cyber threats/attacks

·         Darktrace

·         Microsoft 365

·         Defender ATP


Desirable experience:

·         FireEye

·         Microsoft Excel

·         EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response)

·         Good knowledge around Playbook design

·         Experience with Incidence Response
